Evan McNeal - Data Analytics & Technical Consultant

Evan is currently in his final year of college at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA.  He has a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and computer science with a focus on data science, and he is capable of gleaning information from large sets of data and producing predictive models and detecting trends.  In addition, he can provide services to our clients in the areas of task automation and programming.  

He has advanced software knowledge in JAVA, R, MAT LAB & PYTHON and working knowledge of C, CUDA, AWS, AZURE, Google Analytics, HTML and JavaScript.   Additionally, he has also been involved with Cryptography and Parallel Computing.  

His relevant experience was working as a Technology Services Intern during the Summer of 2018 at Northrop Grumman.  During this internship, he also was the Team Leader for a National Challenge where he and his team came in 1st Place and the result of this work will be implemented enterprise-wide.

He serves as an Honor Council Delegate which works with students and faculty to adjudicate cases of academic misconduct, lead educational programs and assist in the training of Honor System personnel.

Evan has developed great Leadership skills and works efficiently both individually and on any team.  He has a terrific work ethic, meets deadlines, easily understands complex problems and finds efficient, cost effective methods to help companies analyze data and streamlines processes through automation.
